Hacienda Guachipelín ranch and ecolodge is one of the highlights of Rincón de la Vieja with excellent food, romantic rooms, and more adventures than you could imagine – swim under tropical waterfalls, white water inner tube, ride horseback, rock climb, rapel and zipline then relax in the hot springs and mud baths. The birds and wildlife are everywhere and the national park entrance is just up the road.

One of our favorite adventures in all of Costa Rica is the slot canyons on the Río Colorado that runs through the ranch at Hacienda Guachipelín Costa Rica. The water is just cool enough under the tropical sun. Fun for the whole family (ours ranged from 8 yrs to 80).
