roads and cities

All of the roads that are shown on this map are considered main roads in Costa Rica. Some of them are paved and some are not but we have chosen not to make a graphic distinction on the map because some of the unpaved roads are better than some of the paved ones. You can find information on where to get topo maps of trails and jeep roads (not shown here) in the resources section, as well as a discussion of which roads are too dangerous to bike and how to avoid them.
