Leisure Reading The Cloud Forest is an explornography true story that originally appeared as a serial in the New Yorker magazine. The author travels by cargo ship from NY up the Amazon to Peru, by air to the Pacific coast, then by foot and balsa raft to find a lost city (doesn't turn up) and a dinosaur jaw bone (finds it). Tropical Nature will teach you more about the rainforest than you ever thought there was to know, and do it in such an entertaining manner that you'll love every minute.
